What Gold Pulse EA does
Gold Pulse EA is purpose-built for XAUUSD rather than adapted from a generic multi-pair template. Gold’s wider intraday ranges and session-driven volatility call for entry and filtering logic that behave differently to a standard currency-pair EA, so this system’s parameters are tuned around that specific behaviour.
The EA identifies compression-and-expansion phases in price, waits for a defined breakout condition to be met, and only then places an order — with a stop-loss, take-profit and position size calculated automatically from your chosen risk-per-trade percentage.
Built around control, not complexity
Session-based filtering
Trading windows can be restricted to specific sessions (e.g. London/New York overlap) to avoid known low-liquidity periods.
Fixed risk per trade
Position size is calculated from your account balance and a configurable risk percentage — not a fixed lot size.
Volatility-adaptive stops
Stop-loss and take-profit distances adjust to current market volatility rather than using a static pip value.
Single open position
The EA manages one position at a time on the chart it’s attached to — no unlimited grid or martingale scaling.
News-time pause
An optional setting pauses new entries around configured high-impact news windows.
Full parameter access
All inputs are visible and adjustable in the platform’s standard settings panel — nothing is hidden or locked.
How the logic works
Gold Pulse EA looks for periods where price is trading inside a narrowing range on the H1 chart — a sign of reduced short-term volatility. When price breaks that range with sufficient momentum, and the trade falls inside the configured session window, the EA opens a single position in the direction of the breakout.
Stop-loss and take-profit levels are set using a multiple of recent volatility (measured via Average True Range) rather than a fixed pip count, so the trade’s risk profile adapts as gold’s typical daily range changes over time. Position size is then derived from the account’s current balance and the risk percentage you configure, so the dollar risk on every trade stays consistent.
The EA does not average down, does not use a martingale or grid multiplier, and will not open a second position while one is already active on the chart.
MT4 & MT5
Gold Pulse EA is compiled and tested natively for both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. A license covers one live or demo trading account on your platform of choice.
Instrument coverage
Gold Pulse EA is designed and tested exclusively on XAUUSD. Running it on other instruments is not recommended, as the volatility model is calibrated to gold’s typical trading behaviour.
